The Job

Somebody Has To Start The Conversations.

Almost every business we speak to has the same shape of problem. When someone raises their hand you are fine, because you know how to sell. The trouble is that nobody in the business is consistently starting conversations with people who have not raised their hand yet. So revenue arrives in waves, and the waves are decided by whoever happens to find you.

Appointment setting fixes exactly that and nothing else. We work out who actually buys from you, build the list, and start the conversations every week whether you feel like it or not. Consistency is the entire product. A month of outbound done properly beats six months of doing it when things go quiet.

How It Works

Five Stages, And
Nobody Dials On Day One.

Outbound fails when it starts with a phone and a list somebody bought. The first two stages are the ones that decide whether the other three work.

01

Work Out Who Actually Buys

We go through your last ten or twenty deals and find what the good ones had in common. Industry, size, trigger, who signed and what made them move. Most businesses discover their best customers look nothing like the audience they have been targeting.

02

Build The List And The Language

A real list built against those criteria, not a bulk export. Then the opening lines, the sequences across phone, email and LinkedIn, and the qualification standard, written down before anyone is contacted.

03

Start The Conversations

Consistent outreach every week, by phone as well as keyboard, because the phone is where the objections live. Australian callers, using your name, sounding like part of your team rather than an agency working a script.

04

Qualify Before Booking

Every meeting is tested against the written standard: right business, right person, real problem, and some idea of what fixing it costs. Anything that fails does not go in your calendar, because a meeting that wastes an hour is worse than no meeting.

05

Hand It Over Properly

The meeting lands in your calendar with notes: what they said, why they agreed to talk, and what they are actually worried about. You walk in knowing the situation instead of starting from nothing.

Fit

If Any of This
Sounds Like You.

Outbound works best for B2B businesses with a proven offer and a deal worth having, where the constraint is conversations rather than delivery. If a signed client is worth $10,000 or more to you, the arithmetic is comfortable.

Founder-Led Sales

You are the best salesperson in the business and it is now the bottleneck. Every deal needs you, so growth is capped by your calendar.

Referral Dependency

Revenue arrives in waves. When referrals are strong you are fine. When they dry up there is no second engine to fall back on.

Leads, No Conversion

Marketing is generating interest but it is not turning into revenue. The leak is between enquiry and signature, not at the top of funnel.

First Sales Hire

You know you need someone prospecting but hiring an SDR is a $99,000 bet plus four months of ramp, and you are not ready to place it.

Nobody Prospects

Your people can sell when someone is in front of them, but nobody starts conversations. Outbound is the thing that never gets done because it is nobody’s actual job.

Expanding Into New Markets

You are moving into a new segment or region and need someone who can build the outbound motion from nothing.

Common Questions

Appointment Setting Questions.

Appointment setting is outbound prospecting that ends in a booked meeting. We research and build the target list, run the outreach across phone, email and LinkedIn, qualify anyone who responds against written criteria, and put the ones who pass into your calendar. You do not chase, list build or cold call. You turn up to the meeting.
They are the same job under two names. SDR, or sales development representative, is the job title. Appointment setting is what that job produces. In practice SDR tends to imply generating meetings from cold outreach, while appointment setting can also mean working leads a business already has. We do both.
We agree the definition in writing before we start, and it usually covers five things: the business fits your target profile, the person on the call can make or heavily influence the decision, they have a problem you actually solve, they know roughly what solving it costs, and they turned up. A meeting that fails the standard is replaced, not invoiced.
For most B2B businesses a full outbound effort produces somewhere between eight and fifteen qualified meetings a month. The range depends on your deal size, how narrow your target market is and how well known you already are. Anyone promising a precise number before looking at your market is guessing.
No. Every call is made by an Australian. That is deliberate, because Australian business owners can tell inside a sentence, and a cheap call that damages your name is not a saving.
On fixed cost, yes. An SDR on a $75,000 base costs roughly $99,000 in the first year once you add 12% superannuation, a recruitment fee of around 15% and tooling, and they typically need three to four months before producing at target. An outsourced arrangement carries no recruitment fee and no ramp.
